Kevin's thirst for music and the knowledge that he
had around the equipment that helps make the music fueled his desire to team up
with diverse artists of all types and bring the seemingly opposite ends of the
musical spectrum together. He quickly
became known in the Cleveland area for his adept ears, recording and mixing
uniqueness and knowledge of the workings of the equipment. That notoriety propelled him into
collaborating with various music studios and post-production facilities, mixing
and fixing equipment while travelling with a number of bands and artists
around the country, and ultimately contracting on the 1996 Summer Olympics in
Atlanta.
As the music industry moved thru its various stages, Kevin was moving and adapting along its side – from the big studio days of the 1980’s with analog equipment that was the size of a small plane and elaborate design to the more streamlined modern equipment that can fit inside a small piece of luggage that are in a residential home’s basement. Now, he and his team draw from their unique situations and attention to detail to develop repair and design solutions that are unique for the equipment, cost and space… and have fun in the process.
